This privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") is intended to inform you about how Operator collects and uses your personally identifiable information ("PII") and other information in operating the Website.

How does the Website Work?

The Website enables anonymous visitors to the Website ("Visitors") to learn more about us and the Film, Stage & ShowBiz Expo (the "Event"), and Visitors who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and not a minor in their state of residence, and who affirmatively indicate their agreement to abide by the Website's Terms of Use (the "Terms of Use") by means of a click-through consent, to register for the Event as participants ("Participants") or exhibitors ("Exhibitors", and together with Participants, "Registrants"). Registrants and Visitors shall be collectively referred to herein as "you" or "your".

Your use of the Website is subject to our Terms of Use, which can be found at www.theshowbizexpo.com/termsofuse.html.

By using the Website, you consent to the collection and use of your PII and other information by Operator as described herein.

We reserve the right to change how we handle the information we collect and process through the Website, and to modify the Privacy Policy, at any time. You agree to review the Privacy Policy periodically to be aware of any such modifications. We will indicate that changes to the Privacy Policy have been made by updating the date indicated after "Last Modified" at the beginning of the Privacy Policy. A current version of the Privacy Policy is accessible via the footer of the Website's homepage.

What type of PII does Operator collect from you and how do we use it?

Participants must provide certain PII to Operator in order to register for the Event, such as a Participant's name, address, email, phone number and payment information. We may also ask Participants for general statistical, non-PII about themselves and their interests.

Exhibitors must complete the Event Exhibitor Application located at www.TheShowBizExpo.com (click BE AN EXHIBITOR and then ONLINE APPLICATION) which requires Exhibitors to provide certain PII to Operator, such as an Exhibitor's name, address, email, phone number and payment information. We may also ask Participants for general statistical, non-PII about themselves and their interests.

Upon registering for the Event, Participants may elect to be listed in the Event's official Entertainment Industry online and/or print directories. Any such a listing will include each Participant's name, phone number, email address, website address, industry job and other information, which will be sent out to each Registrant along with thousands of other industry professionals via email and other means after the Event. The print directory will be sold at the Event. If you wish to remove a listing from either such directory once you have submitted a listing request, you must either (i) for the online directory, log into your Account and cancel your listing from such directory, and (ii) for the print directory, notify us in writing; provided, that any such request must be received no less than thirty (30) days prior to the print date of the print directory.

Certain of the PII and other information provided by Participants at registration will be available to Exhibitors during the Event and thereafter; however, your credit card information shall not be provided to Exhibitors by us. Specifically, Exhibitors who rent bar code scanners during the Event will be able to scan a bar code contained on each Participant's name tag and obtain certain PII and other information about such Participant. Participants agree that by providing us with their information at registration, Exhibitors are free to use such information.

Registrants may obtain certain PII and other information about Exhibitors or other Participants in the Event show guide, or through the Website.

Participants may register to participate in various activities at the Event conducted by third parties, including without limitation panel discussions, classes, workshops, job interviews and auditions. Participants understand the Event merely provides a forum for such activities and has no control over the parties conducting such activities. Therefore, please keep in mind that any PII or other information that you provide such third parties in the course of your participation in such activities will not be subject to the terms of the Privacy Policy.

Participants who elect to participate in an audition may purchase a video of such audition from a third party filming such audition on behalf of Operator. Such videos may be available for purchase by email after the Event, and if applicable instructions of how to purchase such videos will be available during the Event.

We will be videotaping and otherwise recording the Event and using the resulting footage for promotional purposes, and your likeness and image may very well appear of such videotape if you attend the Event.

How else do we use your PII?

Operator may also provide your PII to individuals or entities who work on our behalf or with us. These individuals or entities may use your PII to help fulfill your requests in connection with the Website and/or the Event and to help us communicate with you about different resources offered as part of the Website and/or the Event. For instance, we may transfer information collected at registration, including PII, to service providers and other third parties who assist us in running the Website and/or in processing your registration to the Event.

Operator also may share your PII with third parties for direct marketing and other purposes, and you acknowledge that the handling of your PII by such third parties will not be governed by the terms of the Privacy Policy. If you would rather us not share your PII with any third party for direct marketing purposes, please either (1) do not submit PII to Operator, or (2) indicate your desire for us not to share your PII with third parties for direct marketing purposes by submitting such a request in writing (an "Opt-Out Request") to us at: Film, Stage & ShowBiz Expo LLC, 440 Ninth Ave., 8th Floor, New York, NY 10001, or by email at info@TheShowBizExpo.com.

Please note that it may take several weeks for us to comply with your Opt-Out Request, and until we are able to comply with such request we may continue to use your PII as described in the Privacy Policy. Please note that after receiving your Opt-Out Request, we may continue to maintain your name and other PII to help us ensure that we can honor such request, to communicate to you about your registration account, and for other purposes not related to direct marketing.

Please note that if we receive your Opt-Out Request after having shared your PII with a third party for direct marketing purposes or having otherwise transferred or disposed of your PII, we may not have the ability to control the use of such PII by any third party, and in such an event you agree that Operator shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damages or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of such PII by any such third party or resulting from any such transfer or disposition. If you are concerned about us sharing your PII with third parties or otherwise transferring or disposing your PII, you should not provide your PII to us.

Under what other circumstances may we release PII?

We may also release your PII if we believe such release is necessary to comply with the law (e.g., a legal process or a statutory authorization), to apply or enforce our customer agreements, to protect our rights or property, to protect you from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use of the Website, or if we reasonably believe that a danger to any person requires disclosure of such PII.

What other information does Operator collect?

We also collect anonymous and aggregate information from you about your preferences in navigating the Website by using cookies, action tags and other methods. We may use cookies to, among other things, monitor Website usage, customize Website features, identify your computer operating system and browser, and complete transactions. How do we store information?

Operator takes steps consistent with commercially reasonable industry standards to secure any PII collected from you from loss, misuse, unauthorized access and destruction while under our control. However, please note that despite our efforts to protect information provided to us, we cannot guarantee that such information will not be lost, disclosed or accessed by accidental circumstances or by the unauthorized acts of others.

Does Operator provide links to other websites?

Operator may provide links to other websites or resources of possible interest to you. The collection and use of your PII and other information by such websites shall be subject to the policies and procedures of such websites and not the Privacy Policy.

What are our policies regarding children?

You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older in order to register for the Event. Operator does not knowingly collect PII from anyone under thirteen (13) years of age.

Do we have a mechanism to address the removal of PII and complaints about the handling of information that we collect?
